No. Unless you have booked for an approved specific arrival time, our afternoon slot is 1 pm -3 pm arrival. We try our best to get the team to arrive as close as possible to 1 pm, but it entirely depends on how the morning AM jobs progress. In any case, for all afternoon jobs, you will be provided with a more concrete arrival time by around 10 am. You will know where it is closer to 1 pm or later in the day. Based on data, the arrival time is generally closer to 1 pm.

If your job has a lift booking or is based on a settlement, then we will arrive at a specific time, e.g. 9:00 am, 12:30 pm etc. Otherwise, our main arrival windows are between 7:30 am - 9:30 am and 1 pm - 3 pm. In some cases where there is a key collection, school pick-ups or other valid reasons, we can be more flexible with the start time. Generally, for non-settlement and lift booking jobs, our latest AM arrival time is 10:30 - 11 am.

We make a lot of moves that are dependent on lift bookings. You generally have a 2hr window that you have to book. Our loading and unloading times can be tailored specifically around your lift booking window.

Please make sure that you notify our team if you have a simultaneous settlement, as we highly prioritise moves of this nature. With settlement-based moves, we allocate a dedicated truck that will only make one move for the day. The exact start time will be based on your eventual settlement time. E.g. If you book an 8 Tonne job generally takes 2-3hrs to load. Therefore if your settlement time is 12:00 pm, we will start the move at 9:00 am. We will ensure that the truck is fully loaded with your household contents in line with your settlement time so that there is no lost time in between. Sometimes, you may not know your exact settlement time until a few days before the move date. If this is the case, let our team know so we can update the start time accordingly.

If the contents inside the drawers are limited and there is not too much overall weight, then you can leave the items inside. Additionally, if the item is being moved from the ground floor to the ground floor, it should be fine. The team will use shrink wrap on the day to secure the drawers and hold them tight. We can make a better assessment on the day; worst case, they empty drawers out if necessary.

If you have the original box, it would be great. If you do not have the original box, we recommend using bubble wrap to cover the screen. On the day of the move, the team will wrap the TV in blankets and then cover it with shrink wrap for added protection, or we can use ours and charge accordingly $30 for a TV Carton. The item is then safely secured inside the truck

The way we work, as long as you are happy with the quote and the service described, we just take a deposit of $50 for local moves, which is fully refundable and a 10% deposit for interstate moves. We refund the deposit in full if you cancel within the stipulated terms. The deposit gives you priority booking.

As an essential service, it is still business as usual. However, we are taking all the relevant precautions. The trucks are cleaned out daily, and all teams have hygiene kits (hand sanitiser, disinfectant wipes etc.). We carry out ‘contact-free moves’ and maintain a 1.5m distance at all times, with no contact payment options available.

Yes, we do. We offer a partial packing service and full packing service. The partial pack is good if you will be doing the bulk of the pack yourself and just need assistance with the kitchen items, fragile items, and other breakables. A partial pack includes 1 packer at $55per/hr. You can use your own materials, or we can use ours and charge accordingly; $3 for book boxes, $4.50 for tea chest, $25 for shrink wrap, $7 for a mattress protector, $30 for TV Carton and $30 for 15kg butcher paper. A full pack is a whole house packed top to bottom. For 2 packers, the rate is $110per/hr. We pack the day before the move and prepare everything for move day. Again you can use your own materials, or we can use ours and charge accordingly.

Yes, various insurance options are available depending on the chosen service type. We have basic, premium and elite insurance cover. If there are damages, as long as it is brought to our attention prior to our team leaving the premises, we can lodge a formal claim and have you reimbursed in full. If the damage is minor, we can get it fixed by an accredited repairer or handyman.

Your local move’s cost depends on how long your move takes. The time your move takes will depend on factors such as access and how close the truck can park to your house, stairs if beds and other items of furniture need to be disassembled, and how well things are packed. To make your move more cost-effective and to reduce the overall time, you can do the following: Disassembling all of your furniture yourself Moving all of your boxes into the garage on your ground floor to make them quicker to load Help the removalists load smaller items into the truck. Ensure easy access and save a good parking spot for the movers. Move pot plants and other awkward items yourself. Pot plants and other similar items take up a lot of space in the truck as you cannot stack them on top of them. You don’t need to book to move everything! You can just book the number of hours you want and move the rest yourself
